ALBERT SGROSSO - Chief Estimator

Albert Sgrosso was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. He has worked in the painting industry since the age of 14 - part time during summer holidays from school. In the last 19 years he has worked as a painter, a painting estimator, a construction estimator and as a small paint company owner. He has graduated as a Civil Engineer Technologist from Dawson College in Montreal , as a Sound Engineer from the Recording Arts Program of Canada and as a Junior Computer Programmer from CDI College.

In the fall of 1998, Albert made the move to Calgary to start a family and support his wife in her work as a financial planner for Royal Trust. In the fall of 2000, he joined the Calibre Coatings Group as an estimator and has been a shareholder ever since. Albert's current responsibilities are to estimate commercial and residential jobs, provide client care, and liaise between Calibre's production team and clients.

Albert lives in northwest Calgary with his wife and daughter. He very much enjoys both his work and his family time, keeping a well-balanced work/family schedule. With his strong belief in client care, Albert can always be reached 24 hours a day 7 days a week. His cell phone is always on.

KEVIN FORD - Production Manager

Kevin Ford has been in the painting and decorating trade since 1983. He began his career with CCL four years ago. He has gained experience in commercial painting from large to small projects, condominiums and light industrial.

Kevin earned his Journeyman status in 1987, and is currently on the L.A.C. and P.A.C. apprenticeship boards.

Kevin is married and has three children.

SHAUN CHRISTIE - Production Manager

Shaun has been in the painting industry and has worked as a vinyl hanger since 1998. Shaun has progressively taken on larger projects, such as Nexxen Calgary which was a 22 story project in 2003. One of his first major projects with Calibre Coatings was working on the Children’s Hospital during its construction. Shaun moved to Alberta from Ontario in 1998 and currently resides here with his wife and 3 boys.
